Cars that passed the crash test

There is a belief that larger vehicles are more protective of occupants in a collision, but the latest series of tests has not proved that.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety ran tests with small SUVs, SUVs mid-size and mid-size cars.

The institute reached surprising results, check it out below!

The updated IIHS side-impact crash test evaluates a vehicle's ability to protect occupants.

The agency says the new test better reproduces the impact of a collision with a large SUV.

But despite their size disadvantage, most came out with passing grades.

2022 Honda Civic sedan and hatchback, 2022 Kia Forte, 2022 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback was one of the used cars.

In addition to the 2022 Nissan Sentra, the 2022-23 Subaru Crosstrek, the 2022-23 Subaru Impreza sedan and wagon, and the 2022 Toyota Corolla sedan and wagon.

But, these cars were placed in a barrier of 1905087954 kg moving at 37 mph.

Remembering that these cars weigh much less than the impact barrier.

However, despite the David-Versus-Goliath challenge, seven of the cars scored good or acceptable ratings, while only four scored poor ratings.

The Mazda3 sedan and hatchback were the only two models to secure good ratings.

Interestingly, its small SUV companion, the Mazda CX-5, was the only vehicle in its class to come out with a good score in a previous IIHS test.

The classification was as follows: 2023 Mazda 3 sedan and hatchback had a good result.

Already on the list of acceptable ones, you can find the Honda Civic 2022 sedan and hatchback, Nissan Sentra 2022, Toyota Corolla 2022 sedan and hatchback.

Lastly, classified as bad, you'll find the 2022 Kia Forte, 2022-23 Subaru Impreza sedan and station wagon, and the 2022-23 Subaru Crosstrek.

Therefore, it is very important to acquire cars that guarantee greater safety for you and your family.
