Caoa Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is presented and comes stronger than the Tiguan
CAOA's new model, the incredible Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, has just been introduced and comes stronger than the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.
So it will be the third version of Tiggo 8 made by Chery in the Chinese market. Probably the same model that comes to Brazil.
With some information, due to the great success of the Tiggo 8 model, the brand is already in its third update.
CAOA Chery already has the Tiggo 8 in the normal version, sold in the Brazilian market. It also has the Plus version with a hybrid option, or the Pro version that has just been revealed.
The two Tiggo 8 Plus and Pro models are already being quoted to come to Brazil.
They are certainly more luxurious and sporty models, and will have two engine options.
So with some tests done, the Tiggo 8 Pro was considered more powerful than the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.
CAOA will continue with the 1.6 turbo four-cylinder engine, with more technology and performance, for entry models. So with 197 hp of power and 29.5 kgfm of torque. There are 10 hp of power and 1.5 kgfm of torque more than the model sold here in Brazil.
The Plus and Pro models will be sold with the 2.0 turbo engine, generating 254 hp of power and 40.6 kgfm of torque.

Model considered stronger than the VW Tiguan R-Line which is an SUV with great performance. The Tiggo 8 Pro is approximately 34 hp of power and 4.9 kgfm of torque more than the competitor's SUV.
However, both Chery models use a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission system. Unfortunately the 2.0 model will have the option of four-wheel drive.
Finally, in terms of appearance, CAOA used the same front as Plus. just a mix of Honda with Mitsubishi and Audi, all with a Chery touch and style.
In the 2.0 turbo version, the Tiggo will come out with quad exhaust tips. A style that is not yet seen in the Brazilian market.
