With the 2022 LA Auto Show underway, Mazda has unveiled the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata.
Inspired by the CX-50 crossover, the Miata 2023 received a new Zircon Sand Metallic color and a price increase compared to the previous model.
Aside from a cool new tone and a little tweaking, the underpinnings are nearly identical to the previous model.
After dressing the 2023 Mazda CX-50, the gorgeous Zircon Sand hue will also become an option for the upcoming 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata.
This nude shade will be available alongside seven other shades including Soul Red Crystal Metallic and Deep Crystal Blue Mica.
But, the Mazda MX-5 has been given a facelift, with elongated headlamps that extend into the hood and a grille surrounded by sharp edges.
Aside from these minor changes, the Miata remains an incredibly attractive little roadster.
And it doesn't stop here!
When it comes to the engine, the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata feels eager to accelerate and is strong enough to deliver surprising acceleration.
The Mazda's 2.0 liter engine is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, 181 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque.
The Miata Exclusive-Line Edition adds additional safety features to the Prime-Line base edition.
That way, you'll have access to traffic sign recognition, parking aids and a lane departure warning system.
In addition to all that, this Homura edition has 17″ BBS Gun Metallic alloy wheels.
Finally, the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata offers a classic sports car interior with a modern twist.
That way, you'll have access to a 7.0″ touchscreen mounted centrally on top of the dashboard with infotainment menus.
