New 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid will cost US$ 27,785

O Kia Niro hybrid has grown not only in size for the 2023 model year, but also in price. That's because, the new model will cost from US$ 27,785.

The brand revealed today, which is US$ 1,800 more than the first-generation model sold in 2022.

So, for that price, customers will have the Niro Hybrid LX model, which is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with a 32 kW electric motor.

So together they pump 139 hp (104kW/141 PS) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque across the streamlined model lineup.

So for 2023, Kia has reduced the number of available trim levels to three.

While the entry-level Niro LX remains, the mid-range Kia Niro is now called the EX and starts at US $ 30,385.

The highest finish, meanwhile, is the Niro SX, and it starts at US$ 33,785 (all prices include destination fee of US $ 1,295).

So it's just US$ 500 more than the previous top-of-the-line EX Premium.

The new generation Kia Niro was unveiled in April and borrows some design cues from the Kia HabaNiro 2019 concept.

Internal space

Soon, as mentioned above, it has also grown in size to 2023, which means more interior volume for occupants and luggage.

It also gets a more sophisticated interior that offers fascinating new touches.

Along with the available dual panoramic display and digital transferable key technology, the vehicle now features a cutting-edge interior design with seats covered in biopolyurethane and Tencel, which is made from eucalyptus leaves.
