Harley-Davidson V-Rod: See the extreme of this category
Harley-Davidson V-Rod: We've had plenty of opportunity over the past few years to delve into the world of custom Harley-Davidsons, especially European-born ones, and for the most part we've been treated to great machines for our efforts. Including some that for one reason or another are a tribute to some branch or military unit.
The Harley-Davidson V-Rod we're here to see today falls into that category. It's a nod to the US Air Force (USAF), with large black lettering indicating just that on the two-wheeler's massively carved fuel tank. Other marks here and there, such as danger warnings, or death marks in the form of bombs on the body, or black skulls dangling from the side, reinforce this statement.
The bike was modified this way by a custom German garage which we haven't talked about before, but we'll cover it extensively from now on. It's called Bullock, and it's been doing it, modifying vehicles, for the last 21 years.

The USAF V-Rod you are looking at has the USAF treatment for an unknown client, and the result is simply stunning. In addition to what we mentioned above, the bike even comes with machine gun cartridges in fists at the end of the handlebars - it's a purely visual enhancement, but so effective it can leave you speechless.
Wrapped in matte olive green on the modified body parts, the bike rides on 18-inch wheels, uses modified brakes and a Bad Boy Customs exhaust system and, to complete the USAF reference, even has a matching helmet on the side.

The phrase “1st Recon 507 Airborne” is written on the helmet, and even though we cannot be sure of that, it is likely a reference to the Fort Benning-born 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, which served during WWII in three major battles, namely D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge and Operation Varsity.
