Indian Chief Warrior: A new 2022 Indian Chief is a dollar less than $$ 15,000 these days. That's a decent enough sum to pay for a motorcycle described as the "iconic cruiser, reinvented for its 100th anniversary," and a chance to "make history," as Indian says of the two-wheeler.

But a buttless Chief only worth US$ 15,000 isn't enough cause for pride for some people, which is why there's a market for custom Chiefs priced more than three times the stock motorcycle's MSRP. Like this machine here, dubbed the Warrior, and assembled in Germany by a team called Hollister's Motorcycles.

The Warrior has an asking price of 48,500 euros, which is just a little less in US dollars at today's exchange rates. For that money, you get a custom variant of the Dark Horse (this one costs $$ 17,499 at Indian in stock form). This with a cool three-layer paint job in black, green, and yellow and a pretty short list of custom bits added, if we're to judge what's listed at Hollister's.

That list includes Indian aftermarket parts (like, say, the shock, risers, and speedometer), modified Indian stock parts (things like the fuel tank and electrical system), but also full custom hardware.

This last category then includes things like the NLC-supplied fork, swingarm and also the two fenders, Wunderkind mirrors and Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde on the exhaust.

The engine that sits inside the frame is therefore the 165Nm of torque 116ci Thunderstroke unit, and it turns a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel (this one is 260mm wide, twice the width of the wheel). rear).
