New Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 is a six wheel truck!

So Hennessey put another axle and a lot more power to the Ford F-150, thus creating the incredible 6×6 VelociRaptor Pickup.

American company Hennessey unveiled the new VelociRaptor 600 earlier this year as an F-150 pickup. Now they made a 6x6 version of the pickup.

The model will not be for sale in the UK, and pricing starts from US$ 399,950 in the US.

We can say that it was not strange to add more wheels to the popular pickup. The VelociRaptor 6×6 was very similar to the Mammoth 6×6 based on the Dodge Ram or the Goliath 6×6 which was based on the Chevrolet Silverado.

Anyway, unsurprisingly, it's a six-wheel drive alternative to the VelociRaptor.

However, Hennessey is keen to point out that it did much more than just add an extra axle to the VelociRaptor 600.

There's Fox suspension on all four sides, with dual-locking rear axles to help with off-road damping and stability.

The 6x6's slightly longer length allows for a larger cargo hold, measuring up to 45% longer than the regular Ford F-150.

The VelociRaptor 6x6 is also significantly taller than the standard pickup truck, thanks to a three-inch lift, updated and new 20-inch wheels, and 37-inch off-road tires.

The pickup has new front and rear bumpers, and the LED lights help the 6×6 stand out even more from the original Raptor.

The engine that powers the 6×6 is the same 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 that is used in the VelociRaptor 600, this means there is 558 hp and 911Nm of torque. So it's an engine that is a little far from the 1,012 hp of the Mammoth 6×6.

But there's a sensible side to Hennessey's latest wacky project. The company is offering a warranty of up to three years or 36,000 miles.

Despite being a modified pickup, this machine can be ordered from some Ford dealers.
