The study carried out by Webmotors involved more than 1100 consumers, aged between 18 and 25 years from all over the country.

According to the survey, about 70% reported that they do intend to purchase or exchange the car in 2022.

However, in addition to purchase intent, the survey showed that 90% respondents are interested in purchasing used cars.

But after all, why used cars?

So the reason for this choice is very simple: used cars are more affordable.

According to the interviewers, in addition to the ease of purchase, other factors also lead to this choice for used cars, such as:

Of the approximately 1100 respondents, an average of 60% of them do not have a car.

However, the research showed that there is a purchase intention on the part of this group and the objective is to acquire the car in the semester of 2022.

So, to achieve this goal, more than 37% of them already save the value of the car in a savings account. However, 20% are still concerned about paying off previous debts.

Even when it comes to buying a car, there is a very small portion interested in consortium, only 5%.
