Hyundai Ioniq 6: Electric, Autonomous and Efficient

Hyundai has just announced the official numbers for its Ioniq 6, the Korean brand's current spearhead, set by WLTP standards and, in line with the first Ioniq of the name, are quite remarkable.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 line is much talked about. Ugly or pretty? This is a subjective opinion. What is objective, however, is its Cd of 0.21, which makes it the Mona Lisa of aerodynamicists and which is well aided, it is true, by a well-established GMP platform.

The official values set according to WLTP standards are truly extraordinary for an electric car in absolute terms. They are almost unbelievable for a 4.86m sedan.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 enters the very closed club of the “over 600 km” alongside, for example, the Tesla Model 3 and the Mercedes EQS , which is already a performance in itself.

But it is its efficiency that demonstrates the excellent work of its engineers. It has an official consumption of 14.3 kWh/100 km, which many electric city dwellers dream of. The small battery version records up to 13.9 kWh/100 km!
